Valentines day massacre
A year ago today you walked back into my life claiming I was the one, and saying you were sorry it took you so long to realize it. We made plans and I was gonna pick up everything for you, only for you to walk away 6 months later. There isn’t a day that I don’t think about you or miss some part of who you were, but that person is gone and I dont know you anymore.
Today, I’m no longer bitter or angry. I’m content and finally happy on my own. You showed me exactly what I don’t want in a person, and this whole thing has taught me to trust myself- and for that I will always be grateful.
